AJJ concert experience

on April 28th, 2024, I saw AJJ LIVE. it was with 2 other bands, although I didn't like Say Anything that much. Greet Death was better than that, But anywho, let me get into the good stuff of the story.. I got a middle balcony in the front row, so I got to see all of them...

They played 12 songs, which I remember since I recorded every song they played. they played Big Bird (which is one of my favorites) and it hit so much harder live. they also played Strawberry (Probably) (I got a sticker of one of the lyrics), Death Machine , Kokopelli face tattoo, Body Terror Song, Bad Bad Things, White Ghosts, Dissonance, Children of God, Linda Ronstadt, People II The Reckoning, and Brave as a Noun. I recorded all of them!! even though my phone picked up the audio poorly..

I might go to their Austin show, to see them again. its on June 28th. I have a digital camera, I was thinking about setting the camera date to 2010, since it has the date on the videos like digital cameras do, just because it would look cool. If I do go to the Austin show I would have to stay overnight there since Austin is an hour away from where I live, which is fine. there's like 4 hotels by that venue. I just want to get there super early so I'm first in line, then stand in the front while my mom gets shirts or something, which she said she would do LOL.. but I NEED to be first since its just standing. I gotta be CLOSE to that stage...

I love AJJ, I wish I could meet all of the members. I did meet Ben Gallaty however.. It was such a special moment, I left 10 minutes early since I didn't like the last band and I wanted to avoid the crowds of people leaving, then we saw Ben walking the other way so we "bumped" into him at the perfect time!! He APPROACHED US and shook my hand. My mom told him it was my first concert and he said that was super cool and said "See you guys next time!" I love this man with all my heart dude.

if it was Sean I think I would have died on the spot LMAO.. I need to meet Sean one day... Speaking of Sean, when we got to our seats I'm pretty sure he was sitting there. I checked their Instagram on the 30th and he was wearing the exact button-up the person in my seat was wearing, and it was posted on the 28th. I wish I said something but he was about to go on after the first band so I didn't wanna bother him... still cool that he was in my seat LOL!! if I get to go again like I mentioned, I could meet him since I saw someone got to take a picture with him on the AJJ reddit. Sean is such a nice guy I don't think he would mind.

Here's stuff I got there, the jpeg of the shirt is because when I took this picture of my stuff I was wearing my concert shirt, so I just got the shirt design off their website. but believe me, I got it. (I got the black version of this shirt)

(tldr version for lazyheads: I saw AJJ live on 4/28/24 , AJJ played 12 songs,  I might go see them in Austin on June 28th and bring my digital camera. I met Ben gallaty, and later found out Sean bonnette was sitting in my chair before AJJ played, since their where 3 bands. images is stuff  I got there. I would recommend reading all of it for more information if you want though :))
