i js joined a few days ago and i've been hearing a lot about gore accounts and pdfiles, how big of a issue is it?
edit: well i just saw a gore account but idk how to report it cus its layout is really weird and covers up the whole screen
is gore a real problem here?

It rlly depends, I've been spacehey 4 abt a year now and I've only seen 1 g*re acc. all u need 2 worry abt is how 2 b safe, I would recommend reading ๐โฉ๐ฃ๐ฃ๐ฎ's blog on how 2 spot g*re accs, and plutocxre's blog on how 2 report these accs w/o viewing their profile ^^

It happens from time to time I guess, usually it can be easily detected like if u see the same blog being posted like a hundred times then it could be gore. Browsing through new users is risky too cuz sometimes thereโs profile with sh or gore pfps. A lot of people complain about the moderation on here but keep in mind thereโs like 5 mods or something and they all have their own lives

As long as you make sure to look at people's profiles before accepting friend requests and to make sure to set your settings so that only friends can message you, I think you should be fine. I have only ever come across cartoon png gore, no real pictures of real people being hurt but I might just be lucky.

I dont think there are pedos here but I wont be surprised if I stumble upon one
