I just found a new youtuber who I absolutely adore, they go by the name Shanspeare and make super in depth video essays about all kinds of sociological topics, often centering around the intersection between the internet and sociological phenomenon.

Their most recent video is about TikTok "boy moms" and it was the first video I watched by them. I was super pleasantly surprised to find not just another commentary youtuber rewatching the same tiktoks that everyone has already seen and made fun of, but a comprehensive video essay that actually dives into the internalized misogynistic reasons behind the behavior of people who call themselves "boy moms". I like how critically they encourage us to think about things, and I also really admire that all of their videos contain a bibliography! That means they actually cite their sources, and are using reputable sources for their research!
Anyway, yeah that's my little blog about a new youtuber I discovered! Just wanted to shout them out, they are super amazing and I am in the middle of binging all of their videos. They are a great person to be watching esp as someone who wants to make his own youtube videos one day.
