Religion (Incomplete.)

This entry is incomplete.

There are times in which I believe in this system, particularly when manic or paranoid, due to the fact it comforts me during these times. I may implement this as a religion in my future story, but as of now, I am unsure where to start with that. 

Overall I am not 100% sure of how I wish to structure this, but I do know exactly how my beliefs work, so some ideas may be switched around as I update this entry.

I do not have a name for this system, this may change. The vast majority of terms are chosen based on pre-existing concepts, however they are redefined here. These terms are chosen for clarity and ease of understanding.

The core focus of the ideology.

>1a. Physicality

>>The soul, for those who have one, resides in the brain. It grows around the brain and eyeballs, provides energy for the nervous system, and receives "nutrients" from the brain in a symbiotic relationship. If one suffers, the other will. 

>>Not everybody has a soul, and this does not make them lesser. I feel the fact is essential to understand. Ownership of a soul is not a sign of superiority. 

>>The vast majority of those with a soul gain their soul after birth. A body can no longer gain a soul after the brain is fully developed, as the soul attaches to the body through having the brain grow around it. The earlier in a body's life that a soul is entwined, the stronger and larger it will grow. It is possible for it to entwine with a fetus, though very unlikely, and these kinds of souls tend to grow to be the largest. 

>>Once the body dies and decays, the soul is set free; "Untethered." It is finished growing. 

>2a. Spirituality

>>The more engaged a soul and body are (entwined at a younger age), the more spiritual connection.

>>More connected souls are more finely tuned to understanding the souls of those around them. They can communicate with others without the bodies' knowledge. This can cause those with larger souls to appear more empathetic without understanding why, while not being this way towards people without a soul.

>>Can sometimes, though rarely communicate with untethered souls. It is difficult because untethered souls are no longer tied to a physical object; therefore souls still tethered and bound to the capabilities of a body cannot see them. They communicate with other tethered souls through eyes.
