Writing music

For my band writing music is a team job mostly between me (bassist) and the front man and we get input from the guitarist and drummer and were good with writing instrumental stuff but we struggle with lyrics. we have concepts and ideas for songs and we write out lyrics but it feels like they never have good flow/ sound like real lyrics to a song yk?

Were looking to try some different stuff does anyone know any tip/methods for songwriting? Open to try anyhting
