Looking for new songs/bands (Punk / Metal)

Heyy! So I'm trying to start listening to Punk and/or Metal and I would really appreciate some recommendations!

I want to start listening to Metal mainly because of my bf (he's metalhead and I want to learn more things about it), I think I prefer Trash Metal, some bands I already listen to (that i think its metal) is Korn, Death, Slayer and Metallica

Now I really want to learn more about punk, I''ll listen to any sub genre! Some bands i listen to that I found searching for punk bands are Descendents,  Mannequin Pussy and Trash talk.
