My Branson Vacation

Way overdue for another blog here. So decided to make my return showcasing my series of vlogs from my Branson, Missouri anniversary vacation last fall.

Branson is a very unique city. Best way I can describe it, if you mix Las Vegas, Nashville, and Gatlinburg, you get Branson.

Timeshare ickyness vibes throughout the city. Interestingly enough, the hotel we stayed at unexpectedly to us, ended up being connected to the same timeshare company that we dealt with one of their never ending presentation and sales pitch back in Vegas in 2018. The fact that the local Walmart had a timeshare booth where you would normally have a Subway, says all you need to know about Branson lol.

Absolutely beautiful country. Rolling hills. The traffic though, not so beautiful. Even taking the side country roads, it takes at least 20 minutes to get anywhere around town. Avoiding the main roads with all the tourist traffic is a good idea, but even the side roads are super hilly and twisty. So you're not speeding through town anywhere.

Highlights of my trip including visiting the Uransus Fudge Shop on our way down, riding the Branson Scenic Railway, and visiting an operating Fuddruckers for the first time since I was a teenager!
