Super powers.

" If you had any superpower, what kind of superpower would it be? "

  I find it kinda funny how little range of answers children, and even people in general, give when they're asked that question. 

  It's always something like, 'oh I'd like to fly' or, 'I'd have teleportation' or things similar and more commonly known, but where does the creativity of the question ever come in to play? That's right, it doesn't.

  Now, I don't mean to ridicule anyone by this. I mean, it's a very normalized thing to say something just quick and simple. Plus, if a kid's answering this, you can't really expect them to give a baby-einstein level answer. But, what I'm wondering is, when did it become so normalized to be so bland about the question? 

  I guess I'm just looking for some variety. Like, I'd like to hear about making small items age on command when you touch them, or having tentacles for hands (which can have multiple uses, knowing some of the people who reside on this earth.) every now and then, not just teleporting away from your problems.

So, if you had a superpower of any kind, what would it be?

TLDR: SUPERPOWERS ARE BORING, UNLESS YOU MAKE THEM INTERESTING.
