Little Kandi raver (a Ryan Ross x Pete wentz story)

The underground rave scene thrived in the heart of underground Chicago, where the skyline met the night with a blend of shadows and neon lights. Ryan Ross, a teenage runaway from Las Vegas walked down some dark concrete stairs and entered a different universe. It immediately hit him like a truck, the thumping bass, so loud it felt like it was shaking your bones. The air was thick with the smell of sweat, smoke, and something sweet that he couldn't quite place.

The lighting was dim, with neon lights and strobes flashing in time with the music, casting eerie shadows that danced across the faces of the crowd. The crowd itself was a mix of people from all walks of life – punks, goths, skaters, and everything in between – all united by their love of the music and the scene. People are dancing everywhere, their bodies moving in ways Ryan has never seen before as if the music possesses them. Some are dressed in wild, colorful outfits, while others are more subdued, blending into the darkness. The atmosphere is electric, charged with a sense of freedom and rebellion that is intoxicating.

The walls were covered in graffiti and murals, There were makeshift bars serving drinks of questionable legality, and of course, right in the middle, illuminated by the glow of the mixing equipment, stood the DJ. Ryan could see the sweat drip off of them yet their black fringe sticking to their forehead as he smiled and sang along with the crowd. He was a mix of cool and mysterious, their presence commanding yet inviting. His music filled the air, a symphony of beats and melodies that seemed to speak directly to Ryan's soul.

Ryan was immediately attracted to him, not just because of the DJ’s music, but because of the way he moved and the energy he exuded. He seemed to be really in their element, completely lost in the music yet fully aware of the crowd before them. His music was a blend of raw emotion and pulsating energy, creating a sound that was both electrifying and comforting. It was as if he knew exactly what Ryan needed to hear

At that moment, Ryan knew that this DJ was something special. His music spoke to Ryan in a way that no other music had before, and he felt an instant connection to him. He knew that he needed to talk to this DJ before the night ended.

As his set drew to a close, Ryan watched as the DJ stepped down from the stage, surrounded by a throng of admirers. His heart raced as you made your way through the crowd, determined to talk to him, to tell them how much his music meant to him. And then, miraculously, Ryan found yourself face to face with the DJ. The pair stood in the corner of the lit-up warehouse, the other man was the first to talk

“Hey, the names Pete”

The room seemed to fade away as Pete's lips moved, his eyes meeting Ryan with a soft, warm smile. It was a smile that lit up Pete's entire face, a crooked grin that wasn't inherently sexy but it was his energy that attracted ryan. Pete placed a hand on the other man's hip and leaned in so Ryan could hear him better

"I saw you watching me,” Pete said, his voice barely audible over the music despite the closeness of their bodies. "You like the music?"

Ryan nodded, unable to find his voice. Pete laughed, a warm, inviting sound that sent shivers down Ryan's spine. He extended a hand. "Wanna dance?" his heart leaped in his chest and Ryan opened his mouth “Sure”. Pete took Ryans hand and led him to the center of the dance floor, where the crowd seemed to part, creating a space just for the two of them.

As the music washed over you, the DJ pulled him close, their body moving in perfect synchrony with the music “i'm Ryan” he whispered in Pete's ear. Ryan knew he had found what he was looking for – not just in the music, but in Pete, the boy with the neon heart who had stolen his own.

Their love blossomed in the shadows of the city, a love that defied expectations and boundaries. They were from different worlds, but when they were together, none of that mattered. They found solace in each other's arms, in the quiet moments between songs when the world seemed to fade away.

One night, as the neon lights flickered and the music throbbed around them, Pete took Ryan's hand and led him to a secluded corner of the warehouse. There, in the dim light, he cupped Ryan's face in his hands and gazed into his eyes, his own eyes filled with a mix of longing and uncertainty.

"I've never felt this way about anyone before," Pete whispered, his voice barely audible over the music. "I know we come from different worlds, but when I'm with you, none of that matters. I love you, Ryan."

And then, before Ryan could respond, Pete leaned in and pressed his lips to Ryan's, a gentle, tentative kiss that sent a surge of electricity through Ryan's body. It was a kiss filled with all the longing and desire that had been building between them, a kiss that spoke of a love that was raw and real.

As they broke apart, their foreheads resting against each other's, Ryan knew that this was just the beginning of their journey together. They had faced challenges and adversity, but through it all, their love had remained steadfast. And as they stood there, lost in each other's embrace, the echoes of the music fading into the night, Ryan knew that with Pete by his side, he could conquer anything.
