The birds are near me

On my morning walk, I noticed that the birds were acting particularly interesting. For a couple of moments I'd stop to see what they would do if I just watched them. They would watch me of course, but I noticed they kept a closer than normal distance. It surprised me a little and I thought I was just making it up in my head. However, a trio of birds in my path hopped around and observed me watching them. Two were especially brave and I think began to play fight in front of me. I waited until they cleared the path on the sidewalk and walked right past them; they didn't care to flee for a tree branch. I feel soothed by those little things.

OH AAAAND I saw a ladybug :3
