Back when I was in school (hot damn that was 6 years ago) I clued in to the fact that it didn't feel worth it at all.

I wouldn't recommend my lifestyle, I'm broke but I get by.

I intentionally failed that test that they use for "college readiness" because fuck college, I didn't take the ASVAB because fuck the military, and when I left school I went straight into jobs that don't even really require a high school diploma.

Now I make $20 an hour at a factory sitting on my ass most of the day, I dump a good portion of my weekly checks into stocks with monthly dividends, and in a year and a couple of months I should be making enough to say "fuck it" and just quit, pay my bills monthly with dividends, and never have to worry about going hungry again.

Unless the stock market crashes, then I'm up a creek.

My actual advice would be, don't take shit so seriously. If you're in High School - as long as you pass whatever college you might wanna go to will still probably take you because they're parasites who want your money.

Don't be a nuisance and your teachers will give you some leeway most of the time.

Try to rig your schedule to get the most credits with the smallest amount of effort - when I was in school we got an extra electoral credit for vocational classes and my IT teacher at vocational was just some old hippie who never made us do anything unless the principal was in the room.

There's a time and a place for "giving it your all" and if you gotta do that with every class it reflects worse on the school system than the student being bombarded with a bunch of bullshit with little to no time to compensate for it all.

If you'd like to bring it up to your teachers, really nail down that you've got "this amount" of work for every class, lay out how much time that will take, add it all up, and show that they've assigned so much work that you have to get done outside of class that it effectively equals out to a full time job's worth of work - outside of school.

If they can't teach the class and get the work done in that class period, it's on them and they can go choke on a big one. Homework should be outlawed.

Yeah, fuck school. I'd fire every motherfucker in the Department of Education with no remorse if I could.

NO THAT'S SO REAL. i've started going to sleep at around 8-9 because i'm just. sleepy. and yesterday i slept at 10:30 and i was absolutely WRECKED this morning
