Something has been buzzing in my mind for a while

Whether you were there or not, I shouldn't have been so mean. It took me way too long to say this. I don't want to hurt you and never have. Knowing I did has brought me so much pain that I'm struggling to stomach it. I don't want you to relive your past because you aren't defined by it. I can't believe I turned into the monster I hate the most in front of someone who I feel so seen by.
