02 DISCOVERY ZONE ZBOP

You thought I'd only be posting dumb lame machines ... you were WRONG! Meet ZBOP: The Discovery Zone Robot!!!!!

ZBOP is a dancing RC robot! You can watch him operate here :))! These guys are pretty hard to come across. I'm pretty sure some facebook account handler saw him at an antique show and DIDN'T EVEN BUY HIM??? He operated in the early 2000s at the Discovery Zone.

He has a built-in cassette player and he's pretty much just a big ol walking speaker. He has 5 controllable channels. There's also a wireless receiver inside of him that allows the controller to speak through his speakers without being right up next to him!! Kids probably loved this thing lol. The four buttons on his chest make noises, if I'm correct. So kids could walk up to him and fuck with his buttons and he'd make random sounds. Totally not, like, molesting the robot or anything (poor ZBOT ;_;).
