GLORY OF HERACLES

hey guys >:3 today i just wanted to make a blog about my favorite ever DS title that i bet NOBODY ON HERE has ever heard of... *drumroll*

BRO THAT SHIT IS EPIC!

Anyways, I love this game for many reasons. It has a killer sound track, cool ass animations for your special abilities, satisfying leveling and progression, a fun and interesting storyline, cool mythical creatures to fight, and awesome boss battles!!! Lets start by meeting your party!

I'll go in order of their images!

PROTAGONIST - This is the character you play as! You wash up on a random beach one day, barely any memories except being told to do exactly as someone commands, before a wicked energy knocks you out cold. Who are you? and why do you seem to be immortal? This is what drives you on your quest into Greece!

LEUCOS - Leucos is a tomboyish woman (man?) who insists on the fact that they're a man and not a woman! But this lie holds back bad memories from Leucos' childhood. Leucos is a rogue type character who uses a dagger and bow to fight, using quick movements and being rather agile. Your body is found by Leucos after you fall off a cliff, a fall which would usually kill somebody...

AXIOS - Axios is a charmer, a ladies man, and for all intents and purposes he's a fuckboy. He will frequently use his charm to win over women whenever it fancies him, which is why he's confused why it didn't work on Leucos...either way, he is a swordspell who can cut up nasty combos with his sword or provide the party with AOE damage spells! He feels a calling to the ocean, loves to sail and is also an immortal like the others, but similarly keeps his secret as to why close, as he knows!

HERACLES (?) - Heracles is a loud and proud brawny musclehead who believes himself to be is the one and only Heracles of legend in the flesh! He has absolutely nothing at all to prove it besides his overwhelming strength. You run into him dining and dashing and being thrown into jail after hearing that the legendary Heracles was supposedly in town! Only to help him bust out after finding out he, TOO is immortal. He will frequently fight with his bare fights, choosing to beat the enemy to death rather than use a weapon, although he occasionally will use giant axes in battle.

ERIS - You find this small child at the bottom of a complex and dangerous dungeon which the party is planning to literally blow the fuck up. You all wonder why a small child is down in a place like this! But it becomes clear quickly that she is no ordinary person. Is she part deity? Or does she have another curse besides her immortality? Regardless, her intellect becomes of dire use as she joins the party for her own reasons, seemingly looking for something or someone. She is primarily a magic user, obliterating enemies with incredible spells.

These characters interact in the game is such funny ways and I just love the different personalities and how them impact their playstyles!! 

And as I said before the boss fights are amazing, I think they're my favorite part of the game by far. Especially the boss battle theme it's simply unbeatable and amazing, damn I love this game. Now graphically it's not going to beat Dragon Quest 8 or anything, but I love the style of it even so.
