Jack Bros. on Virtual Boy is awesome!! If you have a modded 3DS you can use Red Viper to play it and it's great! As for more recent stuff, Psychonauts is fantastic too.

mainly ps2 era platformers!! I love ratchet&clank and want it in my DNA but honestly out of the trinity (sly cooper, jak & daxter + r&c) it could actually be the least underrated one. 3 they're really just sensory paradise worlds disguised as ps2 discs
armored core is good. armored core is AWESOME. The first games in the series are infamous for being unforgiving and gritty but if you're a giant robot enthusiast who loves customisable gameplay do pick it up!! It takes a little bit of time to get good but it's so so worth it!!

if you have a modded ds/3ds or ds emulator, i fucking love Glory of Heracles. its on my page and its just a really solid jrpg i loved as a kid and still do! ive like never met anyone else who has played it, its probably the most obscure game ive ever played. but yeah ive beat it like 7 times lol id give it a shot, gets very very fun in endgame

for sum reason i keep on playing 'dead nation'. its not the best game but its addicting and actually gets rlly difficult. i could just sit there shooting zombies for hours. it reminds me of an arcade game.
