He looked up at the sky, hoping that it wouldn't betray him like the ground had. But just as his eyes softened to the sight of the blue cloudy horizon, the car turned, and so did the sky, betraying his eyes just like the ground. The soft sounds of wheels and engines rushing past the car, going the opposite direction. He blinked, now glueing his eyes on the big, bright sun. The sun couldn't move, couldn't betray him, it would stay in his empty gray eyes. It shone through the clouds, the road seemed to stay, and so the sun did too. The sun couldn't betray him, and the sun never quite did.
