Friends come and go

It seems that as the years go by I’m starting to lose more and more of my past connections I’ve had from previous schools but it’s nobody’s fault really. If you were to be friends with someone for maybe such a short amount of time and move out soon after then it’s no surprise that not much of a connection was there to begin with. And people change, I change. We change personalities and interests until one day maybe we’ll figure ourselves out but right now in this moment I want to spend it wisely but while letting go of things that had once shaped who you were at some point in life is in a way “easy”, letting go of people is not but that’s part of the experience, they come and go. The right people will stay and if they don’t then they aren’t the right people, that’s how it works as far as I know
