ASHER WILLIAMS

my name is Asher Williams, i was born in Auckland, New Zealand and grew up in Northland. i'm a drummer based in the far north district and i believe that music should speak for itself. i make music under no real genre or style, nor am i a consistent 'music maker'. though i've made stuff over time that veers towards certain genres most of which would fall under experimental or avant-garde. sometimes i can't keep away from my drums, sometimes i won't play for a few days but i try to practice and try new things with the instrument every day. my mission is to contribute to the instrument. i've just put up a 14 minute 'free-jazz'/stream-of-consciousness styled drum track which you can check out along with my other stuff in the link below:
