for context, my ex was really narcissistic and manipulative. they stole my friends from me, made me the bad guy, gaslit me and made me think that i was insane or just really mean. and they always loved seeking attention. i remember the first time we met (i was in 5th grade) and i introduced myself to them and they were like really upset and vented to me like after a few minutes of talking to them.. i didn't see the red flags just waving in the wind in front of me until much later on and now i've gone no contact with them.. haven't even spoken to them in years.

and i found an old video of them faking did (dissociative identity disorder) which is a really rare disorder caused by repeated trauma that causes your brain to split into various personalities and some front as a trauma response (as far as i know, do correct me if i'm wrong). and like.. ~1.1/1.5% OF THE GENERAL POPULATION IN EUROPE AND THE US are affected by this disorder.

I CANNOT BELIEVE THEY'D GO THAT FAR JUST TO GET SOME ATTENTION. narcissists are unhinged as shit lemme tell you..
