2ourdust thoughts and rant... suuuupa long

i meant to post this on the 22nd LMAOOO

infodump!!!! this is just me ranting about 2ourdust msg 

it's been a month since my show and I MISS 2OURDUST SOOOO BAD IT'S PHYSICALLY PAINING ME!!! coincidentally, my first ever concert was tourdust in camden (08/06/2023) and my second ever concert was 2ourdust at msg (03/22/2024). i don't think there will be another concert that can trump my 2ourdust show!!! unless, of course, fall out boy decides to bring out ryan ross one day (which will never happen (probably at least, they love throwing curveballs...)). i mean, i saw THE william beckett perform slow down with my favorite band ever. crazy as hell! it's actually kind of funny because i called twice that day. in the car going to nyc i was chatting with my mom about the academy is... and other decaydance bands and, yknow, since they brought out gabe saporta, i was like "oh wouldn't it be funny if they brought out william beckett?" not thinking anything of it. the second time was right after pete said "should we just fuckin' slow down" for the second 8ball right after get busy, which is for later) i was like "ohhh slow down like the academy is song harrrharrrr" just joking around and stuff, not thinking william beckett would appear. the second i heard the drums at the beginning of the song my heart genuinely dropped down to my ASS like... it has the same effect the coffees for closers drums has on me!!! seriously almost shit myself on the spot. i don't ever think i've been as loud as i was at 2ourdust, i mean, i broke the sound barrier on my phone a couple of times with my screams.

not to mention (i definitely mentioned this before) they played xo!!!! i remember on tourdust i wanted xo to be my 8ball SOOOOO bad but lost hope because they played it in boston (but i won't complain too much, camden got i've got a dark alley, ginasfs, PAVLOVE!!!, anddddd 27. crazy!!!) but fob decided to trade sixteen candles for xo at 2ourdust!!! i distinctly remember the STRAIIIINNN on my throat between screaming the lyrics and that little lump you get in your throat when you're about to cry. i never thought i'd get to see it played live, being born in '07 and all that stuff. not to mention THEY PLAYED TELL THAT MICK!!! AND THEN JUST ONE YESTERDAY WITH DAISY GRENADE????? it's like they curated the show just for me LMAO. xo is my second fav off cork tree, tell that mick is my fav off tttyg (STOP BURNING BRIDGES AND DRIVE OFF OF THEMMMM), just one yesterday is my second fav off srar, AAAND tai... is my fav decaydance band (not including fob)(which says a LOT when pre-split p!atd exists)!!!! 

i might be a little delusional in saying this, but i think i definitely had some interactions during the show. looking back at my videos, i noticed at the beginning of grudge patrick saw my little 5'4 ass two rows from the stage dancing in the crowd and screaming, and after the grudge growl bro literally looked right at me and threw the guitar pick in my direction. obviously i didn't catch it, because a. i did NOT expect that b. the grudge growl had me hypnotized and c. i suck cheeks at catching things. there were other times he definitely saw me being a dumbass in the crowd, singing and dancing along to the songs, but what am i supposed to do??? stand there looking like i wanted to die when my favorite band is a couple feet away from me??? speaking of people looking like they wanted to die, the dude in front of me had his arms crossed and a straight face the ENTIRE TIME. he was probably only there because his wife right next to him wanted to go, but dude, lighten up a little! how can you be so... stagnant when fall out boy is playing disloyal order right in front of your eyes. speaking of disloyal order, i just fixed my glasses today because the bubbles they put out during disloyal order hit me and knocked down my phone and glasses LMAO. i just laughed it off. i took said bubble home, btw. it's sitting at the top of my closet as we speak. 

man i love fall out boy. like, a lot. i'd take a bullet for them, if it ever came down to it. anyways, here's some photos i took at 2ourdust. i totally definitely did not take them from my twitter (spare me i'm on my school laptop!!). i think they're pretty cool!!!
