CONVERSATIONS W/FRIENDS

Friend one(we'll call 'em Hydrogen)

Hydrogen just told me to talk about if Hamlet and Horatio had something going on. 😭

Cannot remember for the life of me what I'm doing. Uhmm—I initially had a plan for this, but then my life went sideways and got spit roasted– so.... 🕺🏽

Anyways, Hydrogen said that it was obvious, Hamlet had like an entire soliloquy about Horatio being his best man, and Horatio would lie his life for his prince. Now that's normal in most fantasy settings, but is it not a true fantasy knight without a little homoeroticism? Teehee.

GAAAHSHSHSH IM LOSINGNIT.

Pg 283, Horito picks up the cup, still filled with enough poison to bring his life down swiftly. Give me the cup. Let go! By heaven, I’ll ha ’t.

O God, Horatio, what a wounded name,
Things standing thus unknown, shall I leave behind
380 me!
If thou didst ever hold me in thy heart,
 Absent thee from felicity awhile
And in this harsh world draw thy breath in pain
 To tell my story.

Hamlet here entrusts Horatio to share to the prince of poland, to warn him of the disaster that has occurred and curated in the palace.

Hydrogen also likes to think that "Goodnight, sweet prince" sounds gay and—it kinda does...
