rant #2: takayan (accidentally vented a bit, woops)

TAKAYAN... he's def one of my favorite music artists of all time ! :^)

takayan's music is really dear to me because i've been a fan of him since late 2019, right before the pandemic really hit. back then my life was a lot simpler but i still felt as if the world was against me and my music taste reflected that.. i was a really edgy kid after all ;; his music felt so relatable even when it really wasn't? or maybe it was in my point of view back then. 

as of lately i haven't listened to his music as much but when i do it feels almost too relatable? especially i hate happy people, fell in love with two dimensions and magic room. it depresses me a bit to be honest but also makes me feel like i'm not alone in a way which feels kind of cheesy to be honest. i mean i don't understand anything takayan says if i don't read the subtitles on screen so it feels a bit pathetic to get emotional over these things.

but still i can't help it because takayan is just so amazing to me. i don't know if he truly writes what he thinks or if he writes his songs for fame and clout from edgy teens but i honestly don't care. his music has helped me so much throughout the years that it doesn't even matter if his music isn't genuine because my feelings are and that's really all that matters.

he's so talented and can produce songs so efficiently that it almost seems impossible for his lyrics to be genuine... from the livestreams of his i saw a couple years back he seemed like the most cheery person ever and i could barely tell that he was the person to write those edgy and bleak songs. ahhh i just cherish him and his music so much it means a lot to me :)
