I Miss Windows 7

So, as I'm sure you guys noticed, Windows really loves collecting shit about you, making you sign up for more accounts that you'll forget the password to, and making your desktop and documents folder connected to your OneDrive, which makes it really fun and easy to have important shit moved to a different location so that any programs using them can no longer see them.

Anyway, I really miss Windows 7. It was amazing, it was like Windows Vista, but if it actually functioned. They had Purble Place, I had hours on that shit.

Also, most importantly, they did not do all the data collection bullshit that Microsoft likes to do now. During Windows 7 setup, all they asked for was stuff like the name of the User for a LOCAL account, what features you want, and other shit. Now, with Windows 10 and 11 setup, they want to get nice and personal and ask for your Microsoft account (there is an option to skip this and make a local account but it's really small in the corner, of course) and then, they want to ask for your location, permission to send your voice clips to whatever, and all that crap, and of course, I say no, because I'm all set with that bullshit.
