I made a friend! (2024 P2)

I know it's been a month since I was really active on here, but I am SO SO SO much more better. Last week, I went to church with two of my friends. My friend who is a preacher was talking about some pretty messed up stuff that kids do or kids have to live through and all that stuff. A college student went up there and started speaking and I started crying, I was trying to hide I won't lie, but then he said "If you need help come to the altar". He said it the third time and I couldn't resist any longer, I sped-walked up there and started crying with my head on the table. I then got baptized and he gave me his contact info if I ever feel down or at my limit and he's just been such a great friend. I went thrift-shopping with him this weekend and at some point I want to get him and a group of my friends to do something. I think this honestly is a checkmark in my 2024 list. Because of my him and my friends, I've been leaving the house more. I'm really happy about how good this year is going.
