anyone else feel like they've wasted their youth even though it was almost entirely out of your control and you cant change the past
but then you're also reminded that you're still youthful and have your whole life head of you but you're still actively wasting that time.
and someone might say something about doing things in the present to change the future
but it feels like no matter what you do your life won't turn out the way you wish, no matter how hard you try. and it feels like it's out of your control but everyone else seems to have it together and enjoying life so it must be your fault

Navigating the weather of the waves is a unique quality of the human race.
In part, due to its unpredictability.
Perspective, however; is key.
Summed up quite beautifully in the phrase, a beautiful grey day.
Viewing every act in careful consideration as the building blocks of a destiny we forge ourselves out of our own choices, it aids in the durability of our vessel as we journey forward. It too, depends quite heavily on who is our supplier. Where do we get our materials from? Out of what do we fashion our craft? Is it to mirror another, or something born out of grief, or will it be a triumph of joy?
