IDK why ppl love Kokichi or Nagito so much. They look like children and also commit the most attrocious crimes. Yk who my favorite character from danganronpa is? Kiyotaka Ishimaru. First, he's actually a likable character and 2nd, t h e m a b s. Yes, he looks like a N*zi, but there is no reason to hate him.

As a former Nagito AND Kokichi fan, I liked them because of their quirks and backstories. Their characterization in contrast to the protagonists and relevance to the plot elevated my enjoyment of them a lot. Their actions are definitely... odd... but that also has a charm for being defiant of what normal people should be as it can be fun to see a character be absolutely off the walls.
