Thinking about the odd demographics of this site

I was excited about the idea of taking a break from those algorithm driven content farm social apps, but I'm realizing like 90% of this site's users are 14-17ish. It's weird because a lot of these profiles feel straight out of the 2000s, even down to the interests. I figured more millennials/early zoomers who grew up with MySpace would be on here, I guess it's cool that teenagers are learning HTML, but where are all the adults at?
