Poem: Porcelain Doll

She scathed the earth with crimson fire

Hoping to achieve the life she's always wanted

A life where hate is eradicated by love

And the guilt of man finally judged

Alas, her chambers and fire were of the same hue

And though she gripped an iron fist, her body was fragile

Hollow and frail, her sins weighed on her, too

And crushed her porcelain body to dust

The empire she envisioned faded with a whimper

And all she could do was watch with dagger eyes

The guilt of man would never see its deserved justice

And crimson fire was always going to be blown out

By the inevitable force of carbon monoxide greed

Forgiving all, under the light of the midnight moon

"What a waste of evolution," she thought
