Flowers for Algernon (just an emotional outburst)

Recently, a couple of months ago, I saw a video that talked about one book - Flowers for Algernon. I was interested in this book, namely the reviews, but I decided to leave this book for later.

But yesterday I saw a video about a young guy with dementia at 24 years old. I read the comments and again came across a familiar name - Flowers for Algernon. I decided that I still needed to read this. I started reading this book in electronic version. I liked it, but I went to bed

The next day I woke up and immediately picked up my phone to finish reading this book. (only 118 pages! That’s not enough) I read it and... I'm crying

This is a sad story, but the main character is so gentle and pure, and seeing what he becomes after an operation to “increase intelligence”... It’s so strange, unusual...

He began to understand who he was, to study who he was. I burst into tears at the moment where he met his mother. And the end of the book made me sad.

Right now I'm feeling an aftertaste of sadness. This story... It's sad. But at the same time, she gave me some pretty good information: don't give up. Be like Charlie (the main character of this book). Try as hard as you can. Because Charlie strived to be smart, Damn, he's doing at least something! And I realized that I liked this about him. And I realized that I should try to be like him! Also try, try and do everything in my power. And also be kind and happy

I do not know how to explain it! It's just a good book and it made me feel something (even though I was afraid I wouldn't feel anything. THANK GOD I FELT SOMETHING AFTER READING THIS BOOK!!!)

I learned a lesson for myself. And I was sad today, I thought that “damn, everything is so bad, it seems to me that everything will be so bad ((“ but I immediately remembered that Charlie did not give up until the last, before and after surgery and I felt better. I realized that I can try to do at least something!

Simply put, this is a good book. Read it when you have time.

If you have read this book, write your opinion about this book!

Good luck everyone. Be safe! Bye!
