ENSEMBLE STARS EXPLAINED FOR PEOPLE WHO DONT KNOW!

hai there i kinda just made this becuz i barely have any friends that know/play enstars.

starting off by the basics if u dont know it: basically a rhythm game made by twinks and is for twinks /hj (its similar to the game project sekai colorful stage, just has an all boy idol group + a transwoman) it has a game, manga, and an anime. the creator is called Happy Elements K.K.

there are TWO games tho: "Ensemble Stars!" and "Ensemble Stars!!" (yes the exclamation mark counts)

although they both contain the same cast of 50+ characters, the only difference between them is that the first one (with 1 exclamation mark) was kind of a rip off of the old game "Ensemble Girls" (both are made by the same developer, and are inspired by lovelive (?) not sure) Ensemble Girls was created on November 2012 then it shut down in 2017 cuz that shit game flopped sooooo bad

Why did it flop?

1. ugly girls. nobody wants those shits

2. too many games with fan service girl idols. BORINGGGG NEXT

3. literal l0licons made for straight cis old greasy white males ;-;

4. old. boring. biggest flop of the universe

5. the developers are questionable.. let's just say they suck

in conclusion: that game was made for braindead expired retards and it should have never been made (but sadly. there are tiny bits of lore about it in Ensemble Stars, like some of the pea-brained bitches in that old loli game is basically either a female version or a 'sibling' of one of the male characters. Ex. Leo Tsukinaga and Ruka Tsukinaga)

oh and forgot to mention that it was also kind of a dating game?? like both Ensemble Stars! and Ensemble Girls werent rhythm games at first, and Ensemble Stars had a LOT OF QUESTIONABLE LORE. yk how unpopular games/comics/shows etc always get away with unproblematic things cuz almost nobody knows about it, but when Ensemble Stars! got popular, they made a newer version and just. deleted the remaining parts of the old games. (but you can still use some website to see the old lore but you gotta dig real hard into the internet to find it)

what i RLLy dislike abt... well lets say all games.. is that its kind of just. made for straggots lmao. like the MC in Ensemble Girls is a male. (EW) and the MC in both ES games is a female (sigh) not saying it's exactly a BAD bad thing... but...it.. jsut hruts my heart.. (like i wish we can at least be addressed by they/them OR at least change genders. shucks. if youre a dude playing enstars im afraid youll be misgendered the entire time:/ their target audience is just straight people)

now next thing i wanna say is: there are no canon queer characters in any of the games except for Arashi (transwoman in ES) the developers are really flipping stanky anyway, and there is A LOT of queerbait. its always present in almost every single game that has only one gender, but yeah i just wanted to share this becuz i genuinely hope the devs hang themsekves for GETTING ME SO EXCITED FOR NOTHING. also you can still hc them as any sexuality/gender, but im just saying this cuz yk canon shit ^^

(on second thoughts i think you can say the characters are queer??.. but its still made for straight males and women, so..) (but you can think of the characters as pansexual as well. it would also kinda make more sense than calling them straight becuz of their fruity interactions)

So let's go through some other random things: Why do I still support the game, even though the devs are shitty as heck?

Well, the answer is that i do not support them at all. there are many problematic creators ofc, but we cant rlly do anything about it or even deny it. I like to separate the work from the creator soemtimes, even though the work IS problematic. For example: the band Mindless Self Indulgence and their problematic songs.. ahem.. lyrics. If youre confused about what Happy Elements K.K. (the developer) did, I suggest you search it up since im too lazy to explain everything in detail.

Disclaimer: I know im technically promoting Ensemble Stars by creating this profile on SpaceHey AND the fact that its my hyperfixation and I talk about it to almost everyone i know, and I kinda hate the thought of that. I just REALLy and i mean REALLY love some characters.. like Knights (esp Leo Tsukinaga) so plz. dont mind that.
