thinking about studytube

thinking about the old studytubers I used to watch 

journaling, stationery, that one pomodoro app where u grow trees 

all that stuff

one of my absolute favs used to be jem, i recently found out she makes content thru instagram now so im glad she’s doing well

i would also watch a lot of linh truong, she isn’t specifically a studytuber but i was introduced to her thru one of her study/school centered videos

coffeemlk, bana vu were also my favs!! all school/study-centered content

omg, and Isla brewer!! 

…except i don’t think she was a studytuber, but her content did revolve around aesthetics and studytube waaaaaaas all about making their notes and everything else aesthetic. i did see her try to make a comeback, she uploaded a video and i think it was a day in the life???? and to compare her style in that video to her old videos, it was a reaaaally big change. but she disappeared again in the end.

studytube helped me a lot, especially in finding the motivation to study. i miss it but i feel like that’s an era of my life im ok with letting go now, especially since i would buy so much stuff just for the sake of aesthetics and how i would kind of overdo anything school related sometimes just for that feeling of being productive, it kind of tired me out lol.
