writing this with my cat on my lap. he'd love you, you know. sleepy and cuddly, a perfect combo. even better for me because i'd get to see 2 of my favorite things in one place.

i want to know ur every secret— what hobby you've been working on but are too embarrassed to share, what tiny fact you've been hiding since preschool (we all have them), what your morning routine is, what your night routine is, what food would you never eat? why? what about how you act when nobody is looking? i can be nobody if that'd please you. if that's what i need to do to be close to you. i want to know what horrid things you do behind closed doors, the parts of yourself that you despise more than life itself, so i can love you anyway. don't believe me? put a gun to my head and i'll think about how your eyes glint in peril. a knife to my neck, and the only thing i'd know is how dangerously close your skin is to mine.
