I got me a laptop and I wanted to install Arch on it, I expected it to be cumbersome to download, so I downloaded EndevourOS, which is based on Arch but with minimal additions to make the install easier and to be ready for use from the get-go.
I also experimented with dekstop environments, going back to GNOME, which I haven't used since Ubuntu and PopOS. After a while, I got used to it but I wanted to install KDE Plasma instead.
I overwrote EndevourOS with Arch and tried to install everything manually with struggle. I tried again multiple times until I used archinstall which worked. My wee-stinking laptop's now running Arch !! it's so cool !!
