An inner conflict
A solution is expensive, further problems are cheap.
Inner conflicts can gnaw inside of you very deep.
Be honest and pay attention to your inner voice!
Trust only yourself and nobody else by choice!
You create the outside world from the inside first!
Change everything at origin and all evil burst!
Seize the power that sleep within yours!
This is the way we change the world and stop wars!
You alone have this power deep inside you!
But I think you know that's nothing new.
Let the outside world just run wild!
To finally rediscover your inner child.
Because we are all here to play.
And to give each other a great day!

If only life could be more as you've described - being supportive and helping one another instead of division, wars and greed, and the aphrodisiac of power. As you've mentioned, rising above the negativity and conquering ones own mind is a feat in itself.
A thought provoking verse! :)
I think we first have to get through these (current) dark times to understand that it's not serving us well and then tackle it in a better way. But that will probably be a longer process because I don't see any improvement in the near future, just more chaos and confusion, and as you say more war, division and the exercise of illusionary power in the form of monetary interests and modern slave chains. But the light at the end of the tunnel can be seen. Even if there is still a long way to walk for us as a society.
