My Package is being held

So uh, idk much about how shipping works but like 2 weeks ago I ordered something online and it arrived in my country yesterday. I was tracking it and apparently it is now being held at customs ?? Idk what that was so I just looked it up. But I found that the customs place was actually really close to my house (like a 10-15 min walk). Now idk if I have to wait till they send it to my house or if I'm supposed to go get it (Bcz I happily will if thats even an option) ?? I don't order that much online so I'm not sure what to do 💀
