horror oc blog !! vol.8 (TW!)

the next day, Lennie has plans to go to the fair again with the twins so she gets ready to see them again when she hears a knock on her door. she opens it and sees her friend Layla, she asks if Lennie can babysit again. Lennie is a bit dissapointed but says yes anyways since she knows her dad is a bad guy. 

Lennie doesn't know the full extent of the abuse Layla goes through. Not only does Layla get neglected and burned by her mother because shes a huge smoker, but her father has also sa'd her and she also watched her own sister take her life in front of her. Layla's dad isn't home most of the time which is good for her but she has her own little hiding spot where her parents can't find her.

Lennie goes over and babysits her and asks her if she  wants to go to the fair. Layla has never gone to the fair before in her life so shes extatic. They go and have the time of their lives, Layla is the happiest she's ever been and Lennie gives her a small webkinz  doll that she can use if she goes to the radio shack nearby. Layla hugs Lennie while sobbing happy tears bc of how much she loves her, she sees her as an older sister who will always protect her no matter what. Lennie returns her back secretly and goes home. The next couple days go by smoothly, going to the fair every other day and playing by the lake with sammy and sebastian. They learn how to make flower crowns and small bouquets. One day, when Lennie waits for her father it starts to pour, which was weird to Lennie considering it was still sunny (many normal phenomenons are weird to her since shes little and kinda dumb). As she waits a disgusting smell starts to creep in, one that smells like rotten food or dog poop. Lennie covers her nose and tries to breathe in the opposite direction until her dad shows up. 

Lennie hasn't mentioned it before but sometimes at the fair, the janitor looks at her weird. Not in a mean way, more like an eerily happy way. Maybe its because of how many times Sebastian has talked to him and how many times they've come here that they've become expected but it makes her feel uneasy. Lennie has also had "hallucinations" in the past of things that were scary to any kid but recently shes had ones that are the same. It's the same pairs of bright eyes in her closet, she pretends to be asleep because then it goes away. She named this one the boogeyman. 

Sebastian frequently goes to the janitor because he'll listen to his problems and help him like a dad would. He cradles him, he wipes his tears, patches him up, all things a true father would do for a kid. Sebastian sees the janitor as a father, an adult, one he can trust. He loves him with all his  heart and will always run to him when he needs to talk and feel better. The janitor has also helped Sebastian with fears and everyday things. Just like a dad should. 

Guess who the janitor is guys !!!! Aj !!!!!!!!! ^_^ dw guys plug a lil weird but he chill
