Journal Entry #104: Pressure - 04/14/24

Despite the title, I think I've had a good week. The weather's been nice, in fact, I'm blogging outside!

On Monday I went to WebDev club of course. We finished our portfolio project and we'll be moving on to the next thing tomorrow. Tuesday was a big day for me. I went to this event that ended up being four hours long! It had good food, a great motivational speaker, and interesting activities, including a flower cart. Wednesday was my last regular bio lab, as I take my lab final this week. On Thursday I went to the tutoring center for the first time only to realize I was with the same guy who leads drop-in tutoring. On Friday I ended up getting some Tropical Smoothie Cafe since it's been a while since I've ordered anything from there. It was delicious of course. Lastly, on Saturday I talked with my mentor for the first time! I enjoyed talking with her and getting my questions answered. I won't be able to talk with her for a while, and by that, I mean two-ish weeks. 

By the time I call her again, the semester will be over! This semester flew by quickly, but not as quickly as the last one. Once the semester ends, I'll likely post a reflection of some sort. 

One thing I've found myself fantasizing about is being a DJ or onsite audio engineer. I want to work with DnB sets and dance to loud, gritty, and dark music. I already have an alias in mind: Sonar! I'd wear black and green, cargos with lots of pockets, thick belts, headphones, charms, keychains, etc. I just want to be a part of a cool group. When I'm a bit older, and hopefully have some friends who like it, I want to go to an indoor DnB rave. There are probably some great places in Atlanta and Birmingham. 

Anyway, I need to focus on my studies.
