my adventures at liminal park (pics!)

ok this is gonna be my first big blog post to get ready! >:3

also i already typed this whole thing out once-...but embedded my images horribly so it lagged out the whole page and i couldnt do anything, whoops!!!

anyways, before i moved out a few months ago i started to get sentimental about the town i was leaving. it was the town i had lived in my whole life and i wanted some time to cherish it before i left. so, usually an hour before my girlfriend got off work around 7, i would go to this park 3 minutes away. nobody was ever there, it had swings, so it was the perfect spot to watch the sun set and blast my favorite music.

here is how the park looked after the sun had set. it was dreamlike honestly especially with that giant church next to it. awesome spot to sit in and soak in some vibes. i loved just sitting there, swinging and letting all my thoughts run. i was doing badly emotionally during this time so it also was time alone with myself where i could just think without distractions. i always left feeling better and appreciating my little life i have. the beauty of the sunset, the stars coming out and feeling like i was flying just was so therapeutic.

also i made a BANGER playlist for this spot. i encourage you to give it a listen and try swinging alone yourself because its tons of fun.

you see what i mean about it felt like flying? shit was so much fun. i loved the house in that pic because it still had pretty christmas lights up which added a lot to the vibe. simply the peak of vibes and chill and just everything good!

im gonna share some more pics at the bottom after i share my favorite story from the park.

one night after it had become dark, i saw three people walking towards the park. in my head i was like "oh well it was a good run now im gonna get stabbed out here", but it was actually just three kids lol. they said they were gonna come back with more friends and when they did i realized it was their hangout spot as well! they were all just fucking around and having fun with each other. maybe like 8th grade age, old enough where most of them found out all their favorite cuss words lmao. i offered to let them use my speaker since they wanted to play music and i had already taken their spot so i wasnt gonna be rude. ngl tho they played TRASH!!! straight ass through my speaker! idc tho they had fun. it was hilarious to watch them wrestle and beat each other up while swinging lol. at one point one of them offered me their VAPE?!?!?! which ew no wtf first of all i dont want ur weird kid germs, second why do you have a VAPE?!?!? that made me a little sad to see, nothing i could do about it though. but at the end of the night i had a fun story to tell and an appreciation for not being murdered in that park.

i encourage everyone to find a spot like that near you and just enjoy yourself with the sun set, even once a week. its mad therapeutic.
