vampire oc art

She's a spy on the inside of the church posting as a postulant. Her bite mark is actually on her left brachial artery, the church made it so necks have to be revealed to try and flush out vampires. Though they haven't figured out that they just need access to the blood stream to infect someone. Any bite that connects with an artery and doesn't collapse it can lead to someone being turned into a vampire. If an artery collapse the venom doesn't make it throughout the body bc blood flow stops so most would bite on a major artery like the jugular but bc the church noticed bites tend to be on the neck, those marks are less common now. Less experienced vampires who don't know better would most likely bite there. I changed how crosses work on vampires, they have to be blessed by a priest bc you could make a cross with almost anything and that would limit so much for vampires. the sun still burns vampires bc i think that could make for some good plot moments, though for those who still wish to be in the sun they have a few options. 1, cover up which most lower vampires do. 2, apply an ointment though this is only temporary and will ware off within a few hrs. 3, have a sun shield stone somewhere on you, the richer tend to have this option though not permanent it does last a few years depending on the grade of the stone. since vampires can survive in moonlight which is reflected sunlight they can survive in low sunlight just not direct. im a dnd player so i wanted to make is dnd fantasy like. Ik this is all very basic stuff, work has been a bummer recently but i wanna keep drawing her. so i will eventually have more, i also wanna do more research on traditional vampires
