My opinions on the fnaf movie (SPOILERS + OPINIONS)

This is just a repost of my bulletin. 

It was... Okay? For something that was portrayed to be a horror movie the pacing and other elements were more like an action film, and the fight between mike, Vanessa, abby, and William Afton was so lackluster and non-actiony anyway! Also virtually no gore (unless you count that girl being chomped in half that we see 0.3 seconds of) or swearing so there's really no need for it to be rated a 15. Also I get that this is a different universe than the games but NOTHING ADDS UPPPP.... The movie takes place in roughly the year 2000 (?), and Vanessa is one of the leading characters, playing as a police officer. I could get behind the career change, IF GAME VANESSA WASNT LIKE 5 YEARS OLD AT THAT TIME! And I get that William wasn't spring locked from the start so his springlocks could go off on screen, but if the suits THAT weathered then the springlocks should've went off the moment any of the characters lay a finger on him! Why didn't they go off when he was tazed? I might be missing alot of stuff here but OH MY GOD it's so obvious that all of this wasn't intended from the start and is probably the directors/studios fault. 

OVERALL:

Bad pacing 

Meh characters (Vanessas a bitch but shes probably the best character) 

Shitty story

Ungodly inaccuracies (Idc if its meant to be an AU that's obviously a poorly veiled excuse) 

No gore

Springlock scene is incredibly underwhelming 

Fight scene also incredibly underwhelming 

Stupid ending

Bonnie is now canonically BLUE.
