Hello again my party people, 

The Sun and Food

I got sunburnt (okay we're gonna call it sunkissed bc that's the vibe). Me no likey sunburns but I DID IN FACT get so much vitamin D today!!! I had a smash burger for lunch and it super smashed my dudes. It ATE. I had a bowl of Campbell's New England Clam Chowder for dinner. Nothing beats the East Coast homemade version (S&P Oyster House in Mystic, CT has to have the best cup of New England clam chowder I've ever had in my whole life). It was so good, my soul ascended. I wonder has anyone tried clam chowder or has any thoughts on seafood or clam chowder? I absolutely am a huge fan of the stuff. 

The Wind 

The window at my dorm won't stop sounding like a tea kettle when it's boiling. The wind makes it so creeky and blowy - I don't even know how to describe it other than it sounds like me trying to learn the recorder for the first time in 4th grade. Also how is that such a shared experience among so many people? Learning that we all have a lot of shared things as we go through the human experience. 

People in My Life

 I also hung out with pookies today again :) I went to the Westroads and HOT TOPIC KEEEPS GETTING BETTER GUYSSSSSSSSS

They have belts, pants, everything under the sun (although it's expensive af). Westroads > Oakview. There are these two malls - one is really good and one is C tier. I went to Westroads today and low and behold they had a big storefront compared to Oakview. I forget how much better it is. I got birthday gifts for my two friends, but I'm gonna end up returning some because I found them for $3 cheaper per box at Target and also tights are weird there. I didn't realize the pants are all in junior sizes at Hot Topic. No plus size???????? How can you be pop-culture and not have plus size - thicc girlies unite because the biggest thing they have is a size 11 I think which is barely a large. Maybe it was just this store though, since I swear they have bigger sizes on their website's chart. I was looking for stuff for Emo Nite. I also ordered some stuff off of Etsy for Emo Nite in May and I'm super excited. I've never been to one. Has anyone gone to Emo Nite? Any advice?  

OOH another thing I also went to Tilly's and got a dark grey cropped shirt with cherries on it. Cherries are so in right now - I don't know if y'all keep getting those black converse high tops/platforms with the tiny red cherries on them all over Instagram. I keep seeing those ads and I want to get them so bad. Also, I love the doc martens boots with the flower on them. I need them to have a sale so I can get them because it's not a want, it's a need. 

I went to Hollister for the first time. Absolutely hate their fitting rooms - they're not even rooms - they're just shelving units with tiny space. I like the vibe I guess but everything was way too overpriced at Hollister. I found one pair of mom shorts, but they were a little too big in the waist. 

I did have awky roommate situations, but I still managed to slay. Don't have roommates if possible - y'all - unless you like them, then that's cool. I've had 2 bad roommates in a row, but this fall I'm living with pookie and others!!! It will be epic. 

This is the first time in my life that I think I might be turning into a Percy Jackson satyr/Grover. I simply don't like shorts on me and like pants. Although, maybe we should reject pants as a society too because thigh burn and sensory overload. Yep. Vote for me for president 2024 lmao. Shorts are very weird. I only fit into either mom shorts or men's L/XL shorts. My body really is a man LOL. I swear. I want long shorts this summer. Like REALLY LONG. Like Billie Eilish long cargo shorts dawg. But they are rare to come by because ones that seem like they might fit don't even go past my butt. FR.

Also I might be applying for the desk job at my dorm, which I'm super stoked about! 

I'm turning in my shitty psychology homework about gender and other things.
