Sometimes art needs to be sacred, but sometimes you need to be heard.

I never understood what people meant when they say "put yourself out there" Like ok... then what? What am I really looking for? What does it mean to gain from "putting yourself out there"? For the longest time, I was scared, but also content, content with making art for myself, content with myself and art itself, it was like having a two-way conversation, except, after a while, I was the only one gaining something from the relationship, and I was missing an element of connection from others. It made me realize something more important than having art to "myself" and it was the ☆.。.:* people ☆.。.:* People can and need to connect with art, and it goes beyond fame, financial gains, or other motives. I guess once Art became commercialized, it changed our perspectives and outlook on how we behave and treat art, but then again we are the artist, and we can choose not to feed into such industry (or do whatevs ƪ(˘⌣˘)ʃ). So put yourself out there, not to see what you could gain but what others could gain from what you have to say.

This was an epic blog post indeed... I think I'm a little bit more cynical on this take because, frankly, I'm an avid misanthrope and hate people. THAT BEING SAID, camaraderie, and speaking to people about art can be a very fulfilling activity... it just depends on who it is you're talking to.... PEOPLE SUCK
