my day (4/8/24) & (4/9/24)

this is a day late cuz i got sleepy yesterday.

anyway, my day was swell on the 8th! me, my dad, his girlfriend, and her mom went down to a park for eclipse day. we sat at the park and got caramel corn, i got two beanie babies from a small stand (they were a colourful iguana and a brown and white cat). then, i just sat at the swings and swung around until 12:15 PM, then i went to wait for the eclipse. 

the eclipse was beautiful, but there was some dude screaming out rapture stuff the whole time and it kinda sounded like a captain beefheart song (specifically, neon meate dream of a octafish).

i got a photo of the eclipse, but it was on my camera so i gotta wait to get the film processed before i can show photos of the actual thing. but trust me, it was a beaut'!

anyway, after the eclipse, i bought more things. i got a lisa frank car coaster, a lisa frank mug, some sweets (a strawberry cake pop and the nastiest gummy planet candy. never again. do yourself a favour and don't even try it. take my word), an eclipse t-shirt, and uhhhhhhhh i think that was it.

afterwards, we went to a plant shop and i got to drive a golf cart around. i am just now learning to drive and my dad wants me to learn completely and get my driver's license by his birthday, which is in 6 months. so, that was all i did on the 8th.

the 9th wasn't as eventful, but i still did some things. of course, i went to school. i got some of my drawings printed out in a colour printer for one of my assignments in art 2 (i haven't done work for art 2 in a while. i don't like art class, but this seemed like an easy grade). and then i had to go to the gym but everything else today at school was same old, same old.

after school, my dad drove me home instead of me riding the bus home cuz i really wanted to get home quickly so i could charge my phone.

after watching an episode or two of the looney tunes show, me and my dad went to eat at some chinese restaurant. the atmosphere was great, the food was alright, but the floor was slippery as hell. if i wanted to slip around on the ground, i'd go to an ice skating rink...

anyway, then me and my dad went goodwill shopping. he got a dvd of the complete firefly series, and i got some clothes. i got a yellow and white striped tank top, a blue tank top with clouds on it, a gravity falls t-shirt, and some dark blue cargo shorts with neon yellow accents.

oh, and i also got this shirt in the mail today.

aaaaaaaaaand that was about it! hopefully, something eventful will happen tomorrow, but i doubt it.
