My Grandfather. 09/04/24

Today, well earlier, my grandfather died. He had liver failure and had water in his lungs which made him feel like he was drowning every time he breathed. I cried a little bit when I had heard, but what made me bawl was seeing my dad. (my grandfather was his dad) He was the type of man that says men can't and shouldn't cry and when I went to him to give him a hug for comfort after he had come back from the hospital, his eyes were so teary, like he was really trying to hold back all the tears. That made me bawl. I wasn't really close to my grandfather, he didn't do anything wrong It's just we never had that connection. He always helped me when I needed him and he helped my mom and dad too. I will always miss him but I really hope my dad will be okay. I'm gonna try and be there for him whenever he needs me. I am so proud of my dad and I love him so so much
