Cybercore aesthetic advice/tips

Heyy, so I'm here to give you some advice and tips on how to pull off the cybercore aesthetic, which is one that is the primary aesthetic of most of my fits. I have a good few examples of some pieces that I own which I use for my fits, as well as advice for layering and even designing a space too. So lets go ya?

Fashion:

First we're gonna talk about the fashion aspect of this particular aesthetic. Cybercore is inspired by retro-futurism and vapourwave (looking at the past's optimistic predictions of the future). So...just how did people see the future? Well, in regards to this particular aesthetic, frutiger aero was the direction the future seemed to be going in, until eventually things diverted to what we know now as modernity; sleek black and white. So..what would the future look like if we lived in your desired retro-future? Well..here are some examples of the infrastructure..

So you can see that there's a massive use of full coverage glass/silver metal, giving that clean and new, futuristic vibe. The primary colours of this aesthetic are BLUE WHITE GREY and BLACK. These colours are important to keep in mind when trying to achieve the cybercore aesthetic.

So next let's talk about how you can take this futuristic, digital depiction of the future, and carry it around within your own aura..so how do you dress cybercore? Well as I said right above ^, black, grey, blue and white are your best friends.

For cybercore outfits, it's always best to pick obe of these colours, and make the base of your outfit entirely that colour, this reduces the risk of having a cluttered and maximalist looking outfit, you want to look digital, you need to remember the full coverage and simplicity with small accents of the other colours.

Okay so that's a lot, how do you do this? I think the best way to explain it to you would be to give you some of my own examples. So here's a couple pieces that I've worn before which're cybercore..

1. Cropped blue and grey jumper

2. Baggy Adidas combats

3. Leather jacket (white/black)

4. Navy windbreaker (windbreakers are great for this aesthetic)

4. Tight long sleeve top. Tight tops and baggy pants are the go to in this style, it looks really nice.

5. Grey puff jacket, looks great with the tight top baggy pants look if it's a cold day.

So these pieces are primarily blue, grey, white and black, so my advice for you is don't just presume you can't pull off an aesthetic with what you already have, go and have a look and I'm sure you'll be able to make some cute fits, I'll update this post again soon but til then stay frosty x
