A few days ago I went to a diet clinic with my mother :-P, she usually buys seeds to make some food for her breakfast.
We found hemp seeds and we took a little, a moderate portion, not much because it was expensive.
Now I have them at home... My mother was going to make a kind of "milk" with what she bought.
Although it is not the healthiest anyway since she has to use sugar, honey or vanilla of unhealthy brands. We looked at the seeds if they were healthy, if they didn't have pesticides or so on... It didn't say anything out of this world, so we assume they are "healthy" But hey, money doesn't allow us that much, although we can make a few good liters of milk :-P

Thanks Sie for the hemp seeds and other things 👋🫡

Also, as you know (when we were looking for reverse osmosis machines together ) I looked in MercadoLibre, but they were even more expensive... some were cheap, but in the end we preferred to go to a diet store close to home.

I didn't start with everything straight away either. First you do this, then you do that. And over time, your knowledge and understanding grows. It's like a path you walk; you don't reach your goal straight away, you walk the path step by step.

And hemp milk is a good thing. :)

Exactly... I will advance little by little, hehe.
By the way, We just finished the milk a few minutes ago! We had started it yesterday, since the seeds need to be soaked for 24 hours, as you probably already know...It was a bit washed out for us, but it's the first time we've done it, and it turned out pretty well :-)

We also add a little sea salt to the milk... It's good, right?
I don't know what brand you use but I think it is recommended

Hemp is a very resilient plant that doesn't really need pesticides, herbicides, fungicides or the like to grow. But I suppose they use it anyway because we are supposed to eat poison to get stupid and sick. That's why I only buy organically grown hemp.

So you soaked the seeds? I always use a high speed blender when I make hemp milk (but I rarely do that), it's quicker than having to wait. But your method is more gentle... I think both methods are fine. And yes, a pinch of salt and something to sweeten are ok I would say. Store-bought hemp milk often contains a small ammount of any oil, but I don't think that's necessary.

I make fritters from hemp flour, buckwheat flour, spelt flakes, millet flakes, psyllium husks and a huge amount of different spices, which I fry briefly in coconut oil. I eat them with natural rise mostly. So you could say I eat hemp every day. :)

It looks like meatballs, or burger patties. But without meat of course, it just looks like that... i think fritters may have been the wrong word...
