Concert tips and tricks XD

p>I recently went to my first concert and as someone with extreme anxiety I was really nervous beforehand so these are things I wish I knew.Β

If you're really nervous buy tickets at the door, they'll be more expensive but if you're nervous and you don't think you'll commit to it then having the option to leave is okay.Β

Bring a comfy change of clothes if you plan on dressing up. Like a tee shirt and some jeans if you plan on wearing something like a crop top and skirt and make sure to bring a jacket not only for the cold but if it's a standing venue you should bring a jacket to sit on on the ground concerts can be really long and go pretty late.

Bring water !with a lid! Hydration is so important getting dizzy in a crowd of people is the worst and waters at the venue can be $2-$10 they charge more cause the demand is higher with all the dancing and it'll be pretty hot in there with all the body heat.

Again it'll be pretty hot in there so wear deodorant I suggest stick deodorant and bring spray deodorant with you smelly people in a small space sucksss.

Bring a portable charger. My phone died mid concert and luckily my friend had her phone that I could use. Also delete useless pictures before the show do you have space for videos if you want those for later.Β

DONT SPEND THE ENTIRE TIME RECORDING. Record just like two of your favorite songs from the band. Your arms up in the air is really annoying for the person behind you and just live in the moment it's so much more fun.Β

Bring extra money for merch and emergency cases. Merch is usually between $30-$70. It's a bit expensive but so worth it to have that later on and I suggest getting to the venue a bit after the doors open but before the show starts so you can buy merch.Β

If you're a taller person stand towards the back or edges of the venue I know you wanna be able to see too but as a short person (5'2) we wanna see too lol.Β

Don't be afraid to interact with the other people there it's so much more fun when you talk to the other concert goers. I did this one guys eyeliner like the crow mid concert and it's gotta be one of my favorite parts of the night.

Research the opening bands before the concert. Like I said before the concerts can go long and late and the opening bands can be pretty long and no offense to them but sometimes they aren't worth it and make sure you actually like their music or you can get there later halfway through their sets to see the main band. I was already super tired before the main band even started and that made it less enjoyable when the main band came on I already wanted to leave kinda.Β

P.S fun little tip they'll often put mark on the back of your hand so you can come in and out of the venue and parking lot and if you take a piece of clear tape and put it on the mark and press then pull off the mark will transfer onto the tape then you can keep it as a keep safe. (This does depend on the marker)

And most of all have fun at the concert:)))
