on remastered videogames...

thinking of the last of us part ii remaster that was released earlier this year and it still doesn't make sense to me? I understand there's some new modes plus bug fixes and the like for a better quality with ps5 consoles but the last of us part ii was released FOUR years ago, it doesn't need to be remastered and it doesn't have enough improvements to buy a new version when the 'old' one is four years old - I say that as someone who actually liked the game when it first released! and I know that the last of us part i remaster was similar and I think the same thing!

imo I think a game should be at least ten years old before it gets a remaster the point of a remaster should be to improve quality so classic games are accessible to new players! you can talk all you want on how insert game is amazing but if it plays like complete dogshit on most modern consoles I'm not going to play it! that's why we remaster games!
