I’ve literally tried to start a band with people in my area like 7 times or something and it never works out theres so many new bands that are JUST FORMING and are getting all of the gigs and shit what am i gonna do ðŸ˜ðŸ˜ðŸ˜ðŸ˜ I HAVE THE ABILITY BUT NOBODY TO DO IT WITH ME EXCEPT MY ONE FRIEND WHO IS HOURS AWAY

hear me out: wait for a top local band to inevitably have infighting resulting in a member leaving, then swoop in (dont do this)
turning into the thinker for a moment... if you still attend hs and they have daily announcement forms like in my old school, you could ask em to mention a new band looking for members with your contact? thats the best i got

Finding people to start a band is not fun, and usually sucks. From my experience, it is usually one, LORD WILLING TWO people in a band dragging everyone else behind them. You have to accept this if you are trying to start and keep a band together. I personally do not like being in a band because of this, which has me doing solo acts instead.
