it'd be best to start with the colors, then backkground, then spacing then to go with smaller detail. CSS tutorials are plentiful but few of them go over how to approach averwriting existing styles. For figuring out what needs to be changed element inspector in your browser is your friend - that's F12 key in firefox. And then there is stuff that would honestly probably be easier done manually where it needs to go - doted outlines in interests would probably be done easiest, by simply putting a new table inside each field and setting it's borders as dotted, but I honestlyu don't remember if that's something we're allowed to do.
